相对于传统的780 nm饱和吸收光谱稳频技术,调制转移光谱法具有更高的灵敏度和分辨率。采用调制转移光谱技术将1560 nm分布式反馈激光器经全光纤放大和PPLN晶体高效倍频至780 nm后锁定在Rb 87原子D2线超精细谱线5 2S1/2(Fg=1)→5 2P3/2(Fe=0,1)交叉共振峰上,20 h激光器的频率漂移峰峰值为105 kHz,1 s的阿伦方差为3.7×10 -11,10000 s的阿伦方差为4.6×10 -12。研究了铷泡吸收长度对频率稳定性的影响。针对Rb 875 2S1/2(Fg=1)→5 2P3/2(Fe=0,1,2)吸收峰较弱问题,研究了不同偏振类型的泵浦光和探测光对误差信号的影响。

The influences of nutation trail accuracy, simplification of coupling model, spot position jitter, and power variation of incident light on the detection error are analyzed theoretically. Under the condition of satisfying the requirements, the nutation radius is less than 1.13 μm, the accuracy of the nutation trail is less than 0.04 μm, and the detection range is [?5 μm, +5 μm]. The nutation frequency is 160 times spot position jitter frequency and 100 times intensity jitter frequency of incident light. The analysis is of great significance for determining nutation radius and frequency in the tracking system based on fiber nutation.

传统的1064 nm稳频激光器虽然能达到很高的频率稳定度和不确定度,但其体积比较庞大,系统设计比较复杂。而对于一些激光频率稳定度要求不高的实际应用,如高光谱分辨率气溶胶探测激光雷达,系统简单与缩小体积应该是更受关注的因素。利用碘分子吸收谱线并结合频率调制光谱技术建立了一套小型化的1064 nm稳频激光器,该系统结构紧凑。通过高稳定的波长计进行监测,测量频率稳定后的激光器在10000 s时的阿伦偏差精度小于0.1 MHz。该稳频的1064 nm激光器系统已被用作高光谱分辨率气溶胶探测激光雷达单频脉冲光源的种子激光器。

A frequency-stabilized laser system at 1572 nm for space-borne carbon dioxide (CO2) detection LIDAR to realize the precise measurement of the global atmospheric CO2 concentration is presented in this Letter. A distributed-feedback laser diode serves as the master laser (ML) and is wavelength locked to the CO2 line center at 1572.0179 nm using the external frequency modulation technique. The root mean square frequency drift is suppressed to about 50 kHz at an average time of 0.1 s over 8 h. Based on optical phase-locked loops, an online seeder and an offline seeder are offset locked to the reference laser at 1572.024 and 1572.081 nm, respectively, retaining virtually the same frequency stability as the ML.

报道了一台激光二极管(LD)双端面抽运Nd:YLF和Nd:YAG双晶体串接多波长输出脉冲激光器。在抽运能量40.5 mJ,电光调Q重复频率500 Hz的工作条件下,获得单脉冲能量约为6 mJ的1064 nm/1053 nm双波长激光脉冲输出,光光转换效率约为14.8%。相同抽运条件下在腔内插入I类相位匹配LBO晶体作为非线性频率转换器,获得了脉冲总能量为3.6 mJ的526.5、529.0、532.0 nm三波长同时输出,由抽运光到输出绿光脉冲的转换效率约为8.9%,测得光束质量因子分别为M2x=1.61,M2y=1.25。

Abstract
A novel, compact diode-end-pumped conductively cooled Q-switched Nd:YLF laser is developed. A diode-end-pumped pair of Nd:YLF slabs and an intracavity-frequency-doubled configuration are adopted to increase conversion efficiency. Using 49.8-mJ incident pump pulse energy at 500-Hz repetition rate, the laser obtains 11-mJ pulse energy and 5.5-W average output power at 527-nm wavelength, achieving an optical–optical conversion efficiency of 22%. The pulsewidth is less than 15 ns, and the beam quality factors are M2x=1.28 and M2y=1.12.

The characteristics of diode end-pumped Tm,Ho:LuLiF for continuous wave (CW) running and high pulse repetition frequency (PRF) Q-switched operation are illustrated. In the CW mode, 950-mW output power with a slope efficiency of 24% is obtained. In the Q-switched mode, output energy of 78 μJ under 10 kHz with a slope efficiency of 23% is achieved. The pulse stability, pulse width as a function of pump intensity, and spectral characteristics are also analyzed.
